Is it possible to prevent the date of each individual blog post from being displayed?

A lot of this content is evergreen, and I understand that Google lowers your rankings if the post appears to be older, even if it's still relevant. It would, therefore, be useful to stop displaying the date of each post.

Many thanks.
Hey there,

You can disable 'Show Post Date' which is at Backend > EasyBlog > Settings > Views > Entry Post > Post.

That's great - thank you.

I've tried this - and it removes the date from individual posts - but not from beneath each post on the blog front page.

Can that be removed too?

Thanks.

Yes thanks, I tried that but they're still showing up - see attachment.

I wondered if there was some other setting over-riding this.

Hey there,

It seems that it is a bug.

I will log this into our issue tracker.

I had applied the fix on your JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/grid/default.php.

It should be working fine now.

It should respect the 'Display Date' of the (Posts) Grid Layout menu item.

Can you have a try and see how it goes?
