Hi

I have a fairly major issue that I need to understand as soon as possible.

I currently pay my bloggers based on the number of page views their posts get.

For the month of November according to the Easy blog records, I have had nearly 100'000 views of my blog pages, not bad I hear you say! I would be happy with this, were it not for the fact that Google Analytics are saying that I only have 12'500 page views, so how can this possibly be right in both?

Can you please shed some light on this, is there something else happening on my site? When we manually test it, one blog view gives 2 or 3 'hits'. So i view a blog once but it is counted three times on the hit counter. But this still doesn't explain why I have ten times as many 'hits' registered as page views according to Google.

P;lease advise otherwise I am going to end up paying out so much to my bloggers I won't be able to afford to keep my website! :-(
Hey Alex,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've tested in your site, it seems like if you keep refresh one of the post page, it will keep increase the hit from that post. By right it should not be happen like this, because the system will check if the same IP address view that post, it view increase 1 hit but when this IP address view again, the hit will not increase.

By the way, when I tried to debug in your site, I still can't see my vardump code. Even I tried to put exit; code in your Joomla index.php file (joomlaFolder/index.php) , your frontpage still loaded.

What I suspect is it your server still enable cache or do you have setup another staging site?

Because when I try to edit the file from your Joomla root folder, it didn't get update in your production site.

Keep us updated then.
