Hi, i'm looking for some insight on the ideal placement of my blog.

Currently, I am using my domain sixstringsavvy.com as a hub page that has link to my blog and a link to my online course. I would like some advice on is how this will effect the SEO. Is there a better way to do this? Any opinions will help.
