Hi!

I have a blog with numerous site subscribers but we don't want to send an email notification for every new blog post so we have Settings > Notifications > Blogs > Blog Notifications > Notify site's subscribers on new entries: set to "No". All of the notification settings in this tab are set to "No". However, we do want an email sent to subscribers for some of the new blog posts we add. Toward that end, we would like to be able to click the Notify button for the blog we would like to notify subscribers about on the Blog Entries page. Unfortunately, with the auto-notification setting set to "No", the Notify button is not working. Is there a setting or feature I am missing that would allow us to send notifications manually for blog posts on an individual basis?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Steve
Hello Stephen Thompson,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.
You should enable back this option Settings > Notifications > Blogs > Blog Notifications > Notify site's subscribers on new entries: set to "YES".
Then when you creation of your blog post that moment, you can set Send Notification Emails to NO, the system will not send notification to your all subscriber and other user. Hope this help.
