I have two issues:

1. When we publish a new entry, the notification emails are not being sent to subscribers. Please let us know how we can fix this.

2. Is it possible to import large amounts of contacts to the subscribers list of our blog?
Hello David S Jacoby,

Please find the answer in queries below.
1. When we publish a new entry, the notification emails are not being sent to subscribers. Please let us know how we can fix this.
>> Did you setup cronjob yet? If no, you have to setup the cronjob in your site. So the email notification will automatically sent out to your user.

2. Is it possible to import large amounts of contacts to the subscribers list of our blog?
>> Unfortunately that was not possible in point of time now.

By the way, I have tried to access in your Joomla backend, but i getting this :
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Please advise.

Hello David S Jacoby,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have tried to access in your site, but it seems like you provided that login credential is not working.
Also, can you provide us with your Cpanel access so we can help you check on the cronjob is it set correctly? Please advise.

Hello David S Jacoby,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,

I have tried to access in your Joomla backend, but i getting this :

You are not authorised to view this resource.

By the way, i have help you configured the correct wget path from your cronjob

/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://ogpnetwork.com/discuss/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron"
//Replace with
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://ogpnetwork.com/discuss/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron"

Also, can you turn off the option from your backend > Easyblog > setting > notification > General > Send emails on page load - NO
And set Process how many emails at a time - 20 or more than that, I have help you set the cronjob everytime process 5 minute

Then the notification should be send out to your subscriber. Please have a check.

First may i know where this table data "jos_easyblog_blogger_subscription" come from?

Is it this table "jos_easyblog_blogger_subscription" user already existing in your Joomla current site?

If yes, we can provide a sql statement to help you run this in your database.

We have database of around 31000 users who have registered on our portal and this data is in CSV format. Now, it will be helpful if you can guide me on how to upload contacts to this back end for the blog post notifications.

When I was looking for a solution to this problem through cPanel (phpmyadmin), I came across "jos_easyblog_blogger_subscription" table. I think this is the main location where all the subscribers is saved. Kindly confirm if this is the right table or not.

If yes, then please provide a sql statement.

Thank you.

Hello David S Jacoby,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, the correct table normally the site subscription data will store in jos_easyblog_site_subscription.
The "jos_easyblog_blogger_subscription" table is stored which user subscribe in blogger profile.
Actually this feature already available in EasyBlog 4, but it still in development phase.

Can i have your CSV format file as well? (you can put your CSV file in your Joomla root folder)
So we can take a loook your CSV format file and try process this. Please advise.
