Hi Stan,
1. Is there any way to get each article on the front blog pages where there are multiple ones showing to simply end at the same location or is this pretty difficult? it seems if I change the title font size, this will fix the top two articles. For the third article, there are more pictures showing and for the fourth, there is substantially more text showing.
I'm not sure if this can be achived on your site, but we can try to work towards that. You can try to change the font size of blog post titles if you like, but keep in mind in the future if a blog post with a long title is created then you would again experience the same issue. For the third article, actually how would you like the introtext to be displayed?
FYI, any readmore tags in an article will be prioritized first before the truncation settings in the
Layout settings page. This is why you are seeing more text being displayed in the fourth article(
http://take.ms/Ozw6X). Perhaps you can try removing the readmore tags first, then the truncation settings would be respected.
2. Why is the article "how we prepare for mission" showing so much more text than the others despite the truncation that is set? Are the images in the others somehow counting towards this count?
The reason the article is showing more text is because of the readmore tag that is set in the article. As mentioned in my answer to the first question, readmore tag are prioritizes over the truncation settings. Images do not count towards the character truncation count.
3. In the Joomla blog of the same articles, it has pulled one image from each article to be the "main image" in the blog. In the article "how we prepare for mission" it has pulled the image of the author which was at the end of the article up to be the main image. Is the only way to do this to move the image in the article?
I'm not sure what you would like to achieve. To better confirm my understanding, would you like to remove this image from the listing?
Lastly, when I click on "categories" in the black bar, I am refreshed to the same page. Is there somewhere else that is supposed to take me?
The 'categories' button on the toolbar is supposed to take you to the category page with a list of EasyBlog categories. The reason why that did not happen is because you did not have an EasyBlog
(Posts) Frontpage menu item. You need this menu item as it function as the home page for Easyblog. Without it, the system would be confuse and this will break EasyBlog's site structure. You can create this menu item, hidden or visible if you like, as long as it exist on the site.
