Unfortunately, the first query is not possible currently.
For the second query, the layout looks like the layout in the nickel theme. However, after switching to the Nickel theme in EasyBlog, you would still need to perform template overrides in this file to customize the position of the image to be above the title: JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/themes/nickel/blogs/latest/default.main.php
