Is there something somewhere which explains the difference between the various post options listed under Post Format (standard, photo, video, quote & link)? Does choosing one or the other actually affect anything, or is it simple a way of categorising entries, rather like having different category names?
Hi Mark,

Could you please elaborate? I just noticed this feature of EasyBlog for the first time and I don't use WordPress at all, so I don't know what "post type" refers to. Does it change the visual formatting or is it like another category?

Thanks!
Nicole

Hello Nicole,

Post types is refer to what type your post about. It is not like a category. There are 5 different types: http://screencast.com/t/cCRjH494 . There are minor changes in term of visual between these types. You can try on your own to post different blog using different type and compare them.

Hi Nick,
I had the same question as the folks above. The more I work with EasyBlog the more I find the documentation lacking.
If you want a good example of useful documentation, look at anything from Nicholas at Akeeba.
This would help you as well as many questions could be answered via the documentation, without the need to repeat answers in the forum.

Hoping to see an improvement in the documentation,
G
