While it is possible to do what you want, I'm afraid it will require a lot of configuration settings from the back-end and the need to use the Read More block before every post content. You can see the effects here http://screencast.com/t/wvzxUhhS

However, it can be tedious to include the Readmore block everytime. The other option is to change the code, which we don't really recommend as it can be hard for you to revert the changes at a later date.
