Hello, two problems
(1) we've got the readmore working now. However, I just noticed that when the button is pressed, it up the blog login page (unless I turn off that menu item). How can I correct this, or alternatively make a new hidden access for the login module?

Before 'readmore' is pressed: http://screencast.com/t/qnAeiTcfyl
After: http://screencast.com/t/TaI2ueK1A
The current semi-hidden position of Diary Login : http://screencast.com/t/5ewPwAePgtZ

(2)
I made a scheduled post yesterday, it posted fine: however the Facebook autopost did not function.

Could you advise why please, and suggest a fix? Facebook makes a big difference to material being accessed.
Thanks, Robin
Hey Robin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

so I need to switch off the item on topmenu2.??

I already help you disabled that menu item from `Top Menu 2`, these 3 module should appear on blog entry page.

How /where else can I put the login so that only those who know can get to the login?

Perhaps you can access this login URL ( http://www.sightlines-initiative.com/index.php?option=com_users&view=login ) which you share with your site user.

Plus: do you have any further info on the Facebook issue of blog not autoposting?

I would personally prefer that you start a new thread for this different issue so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. And provide us with your Joomla backend, Facebook access as well.

May i know you would like that 3 module appear on your blog entry page right?

If yes, can you provide us with your joomla backend and FTP access into http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can help you check on this?

Yes, I'd like to keep the 3 modules all the time. The login module is only for about 4 potential authors, so I want it to stay relatively hidden on the site.

You already have the access to Sightlines-initiative.com. and the ftp: I gave it to Ezrul and Mrk some while ago. cheers, Robin

Ah - Facebook access - you already have this as well! Ezrul fixed up the autoposting in the first place. But anyway my login is robin@sightlines-initiative.com robin2311

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

How about the login module? Which page you would like display this?

Hmm, I am sorry that my colleague Ezrul and Mark is not around in weekend, perhaps you can directly update your Joomla backend and FTP access into http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so I can help you check on this and no need wait until Monday?

Hello, I've filled in our site details on your system. Do check it works: I was not sure what you meant by ftp url. Thanks, Robin

Regarding where to display the login Module, I just need it to be accessible somehow. Currently I've got it related to a pege via the footer menu. If that is causing the problem it could be elsewhere. I just don't need it to be obvious to general readers. I did think of maybe making one of the spacer bullets on the Main Menu a link to it! But you can tell me what is best??

Cheers, Robin

hey Robin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've checked in your site, it seems like you have created 2 `Easyblog (Post) Frontpage` menu item in your site, if you click on the top menu `Diary`, it will display this URL -> http://www.sightlines-initiative.com/diary.html

But when you click on blog entry, it will get `Top menu 2` Diary Login alias for display your blog entry page.
http://www.sightlines-initiative.com/diary-login/convenient-truths.html

So these module will not appear on when you view in blog entry page.

If you like your current menu item structure, you have to set these modules display on this `Top Menu 2` menu item as well, you can take a look of my 3rd screenshot below.

Actually that was good about your current login module position, because when the guest user visit on your site, they can register or login directly, that was convenience for your site user.

Hi Arlex,
Hes I know I did that: it was to find a place for the login. For us it is not good for casual readers to see it: we don't want them logging in. This is why I want to keep it relatively hidden. Any ideas?
so I need to switch off the item on topmenu2.?? How /where else can I put the login so that only those who know can get to the login?

Thanks Arlex, that's all working fine re the modules showing properly now. And I've enabled the Author Login, with the Easyblog author module attached.

So thanks, and I'll repost the other query about Facebook. Cheers, Robin
