Hi there,

Yesterday I upgraded from Easyblog 3.9 to 5.0.16. But now I have a couple of problems which I will try to describe in seperate posts.

First of all I do not see the Blocks in the Easyblog composer when creating a new blogpost.

Regards,
Ewoud
Hey Ewoud,

The post templates is a new feature in Easyblog 5. The post template allows you to pre-create so that it will be easier for you to compose your blog posts in the future. You can disable this feature from the settings. To disable this, access backend > Easyblog > setting > general > composer > enable templates - NO

Hope this helps.

Hey Ewoud,

I can't seem to login to the back end of the site. Can you please advise? By the way, if you want to use the new "blocks" feature, you'll need to edit the settings under Settings > Composer and choose "Composer Editor" as the default editor.

Hi Mark,

My apologies for not being able to login. I probably didn't give you the correct password. I have now added the correct one. You should now be able to login.

I have checked the composer settings but 'Composer editor' isn't one of the choices unfortunately. I have added a printscreen with the options I can choose from.

Ewoud

Hello Ewoud,

I am sorry for the confusion here. The correct one should be Built In - EasyBlog Composer. I've checked your site and your easyblog composer is showing the block correctly now, http://screencast.com/t/E7Xj5t4uS .

Hi Ezrul,

Thanks for that, although I had already selected the Easyblog composer myself. I see that now I first need to choose from a couple of templates. I didn't have that option before. Did you activate that somehow?

Thanks,
Ewoud

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for showing the option to enable/disable templates. Can we also create our own templates? I do not see that option in Posts>Templates.

Ewoud

Hello Ewoud,

You can draft your own post template from the composer and then save it by clicking on the arrow beside the Save For Later button as you can see from the screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/4dS1GWIV1s .
