I actually had to search line by line, there is no debug tool for issues like this especially when all I see is a blank page This is why I suggest you to contact them to look into this as they know their codes better
I always appreciate your input. Not sure how one ties into the other. It just happens after I ran the EasySocial updater it caused my JBusinessDirectory to not display any of it's pages anymore. Prior to that it wasn't having any issues and I actually haven't made any updates to JBusiness for a great deal of months. I've even tried to re-install the JBusiness package today and still have same problem. If you do have any ideals, i'd surely appreciate it. Once again i'm stumped. Tried looking at error logs but none. All I got from Google Speed Test is (The URL was fetched, but nothing was rendered. Ensure that the URL points to an HTML page that loads successfully in a web browser.)
Ironically JBusiness support says my issue appears to be most likely caused by 3rd party plugin.
It has something to do with their codes in this file, /components/com_jbusinessdirectory/views/search/tmpl/default.php , http://screencast.com/t/PENmia2v
When I commented this, the page loads. If what you say is true, there is a possibility that their extension could be pulling data from EasySocial and it could be relying on older versions of EasySocial? I am not too sure to be honest.
Okay. I see it back up now. Not sure why it won't pull any of the listings though. I guess i'll play around with it to see if I can get them to show again. Thanks for your time. You're always a life saver.
And it looks like that's just the beginning of why all of all sudden the pages don't want to display. The JBusiness modules still show recent items but if you click on it, still goes to blank white pages. Example (http://dakollabo.com/zip-city).
Also I had JBusiness installed before EasySocial and it worked prior and after previous versions of EasySocial. Not sure what would cause it to break now.
Restored my site from a backup of 1/7/2016. Didn't touch database though and it kept a lot of my recent changes. Updated EasySocial to latest release. Venues are showing as expected. Put the override files back in place for EasySocial and so far everything appears to be working as expected.
You are most welcome Jay By the way, I am just wondering why you don't contact the guys over JBusiness for support eh? Since you are a paying member, they need to check this for you.
I didn't bother with contacting cmsjunkie.com for J Business Directory extension cause after reading through their forums it really looks like their support *****.
Wish you guys would make a section for letting groups or users add venues with a radius search, ratings, etc... I'd would immediately dump JDirectory. You can add that to your feature request
