Hi stackideas team,

I'd like to test Komento. Unfortunately I have the following error right after I installed Komento:

When I enablecomments under "Dashboard > Integrations > Joomla Article > Workflow > Enable Comments" then the whole frontend of my website doesn't work any more. I get just a blank white page. When I disable comments (but leave the Komento component and the plug-ins enabled) then the website works, but without comment form, of course.

I did try to enable comments, but to disable some other options in Komento. But that didn't made a differnce.

Joomla 2.5.18, Komento 1.5.7 (free version)

Could you please help me to get Komento running?

Thanks a lot in advance
Marcel
Hello,

Try turning on error reporting to maximum and see what errors are you getting

Hi Mark, thank you for your reply. I did set error reporting to maximum and enabled comments. The frontend is still blank white, even no error reporting box. The source code of the blank page is empty, too.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, this is odd but I don't see any "blank pages" on the site. Tried to access the back end and the front end. Where are you getting them?

Here in Germany is weekend, too. I really didn't expect you to reply during the weekend. But if you do, it's nice. Thank you.

Currently the front end works because I have disabled comments. If you go to the Komento dashboard "Dashboard > Integrations > Joomla Article > Workflow > Enable Comments" and set "Enable comments" to yes, then reload the front end -> you will get a blank page.

I have enabled it and I don't seem to see any errors at http://eb.dianamarcel.de/

That is strange. Did you click on some pages after enabling comments? For example this page: http://eb.dianamarcel.de/origami/4-pickender-vogel-blau-demo.html (comments are currently enabled and I get a blank page)

Only the start page is working now with comments enabled. (But the startpage itself doesn't contain a comment form, since the page doesn't contain an article yet.)

I have purged the browser cache and tried it with FF and Chrome.

If the page mentioned above works normal for you (with comments enabled): Do you have any idea what could be the reason that I get blank pages with comments enabled?

Hello Marcel,

I am sorry I missed your thread earlier. Can you please provide us with the FTP access so that I can check on this?
