All of a sudden yesterday, after publishing the site (which up to that point was in development and content was only available to registered users), the composer appears to have stopped working. When a registered user logs in at the front-end and attempts to create or edit a blog post, the composer window opens and is blank with only the red corner cross showing to close the window.

The composer opens fine from the back-end.

I have seen similar issues in the forum and have checked that there is a default category, which there is. I've also checked ACL settings for registered users and these seem to be as they should.

I'm hoping you can help fix this for me.

Thanks

Paul
Hi Paul,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end (as a super user) and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

This account is assigned to the Super User group, so you should have full access...

Hi Paul,

I am sorry, but I still can't fully access your back end (refer this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/whdjQEtVyE).
I have inspected that, you did not select any category on the Create menu item. Can you select a category for it by:
1.Click Menus->Main Menu->Create ( refer this screenshot :http://screencast.com/t/Dy2klCca8UO)
2.Select a Category (refer this screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/tdzJz8rkGN)

Hope this helps

Hi Mohammed. I'm really sorry - I've obviously manually adjusted the ACL in EasyBlog and didn't reactivate that.

I've checked and you are quite right. I've now added a default category to the menu items (in addition to previously setting a default category in the EasyBlog settings).

I've tested this and it is all working ok now.

Thank you!

Paul
