Birthday in backend without year?

Hello SI-Support,

we would like to add birthday to show in new birthday module. Now we want to add in backend each users birthday, but don't want to use the year because of private policies. Now, if i am adding a birthday without year, it does not save the day and month neither. If i am editing a user with complete birthday an want to reset the year to nothing, then on saving, it uses recent year again.

I dont know how to use the data protection settings for birthday field and how to not add year of birth…? Ist there a way or ho to use data protection otherwise?

PS: We are on a privat intranet, that is why you can't take look at the page, just the screen shot form my backend.

Unfortunately it is not possible to save the birthday field without adding the year.

Do you mean you do not know how to use the privacy setting for the birthday year? There should be a year privacy setting inside the year field(attached).

Note: The privacy feature in EasySocial must be enabled in order to use privacy settings.

The screenshot is from my backend.
Can you provide us the backend and ftp access to the site experiencing this issue so we can troubleshoot?

Thank you, but this is not easy possible because we are in private intranet. So i have to look around again about my privacy feature preferences…

Thank you Raymond, the privacy issue was my fault. I had enabled several privacy settings, but did not enable it in general preferences. Now everything is working fine

I see. I thought you already enabled the main privacy setting earlier.
