Sorry for the confusion on above reply. It seems that it seems that i am unable to achieved this. I have tried to register on your site and it seems that there are such field on during registrations and tried to edit my profile inserted those data in the field and it is working as it should as you can see here http://take.ms/OhaeUx. Please advice.

With some additional testing it appears as if when you select "Edit profile" it doesn't load the previous result. Thus if you save without editing it, it will set you back to 0. The save function is working, just not when it loads the Edit Profile.

May i know whether that user have entered a birthday on the field before/during registration? It would be best if you can provide us with that particular user for further check on this issues. Please advice.

Users don't need to enter there birthday upon registration. This is when you edit your profile afterwards.

That how i did on your site. Entered those date first, then go to edit profiles, edit them, without editing anything and save it. It is working as it should. Maybe you can record us a video on how to replicate this, might be i missed out on or two steps in order to replicate this.
