Hi,

Is there configuration setting to change the biography editor? I would like to use a WYSIWIG editor.

As I apply formatting, it actually add tags. For example, making a text or texts bold encloses it with tags ... instead of displaying it bolded.
Hello,

I'm sorry but EasyDiscuss uses a build in editor to input In the Biography field. You could set only for Default editor for questions and Default editor for replies in Backend > EasyDiscuss > Layout > General > Editing

Thanks:)

Is there a way to hack the code on the backend so that instead of using the default non-WYSIWIG editor in the Biography, that it uses the configured editor for Questions? What files do I need to update and what code should I use? The current editor for Biography is not user friendly. The bullet points don't work. If a user clicks on any of the formatting buttons by mistake, there is no undo and the tags will have to be deleted to clean it up. For an average user, the tags are very confusing.

Hello,

Hm, I don't think there's an "easy" way around hacking this because the code itself does not allow you to submit html codes for the biography in EasyDiscuss.
