As the Simbunch apps were listed as recommended, i bought the gallery, profile url and parainvite. While easysocial seems to be well written and easy to integrate, can't say that the experience with SIM has been similar.

So my question, is there another way to integrate video uploads and galleries with EasySocial? The built in photo interface is milles ahead of simgallery -- are videos possible this same way?
Have you tried hdvideoshare?

It's the best one I found, but not yet integrated with ES

I hope that the video's of ES 1.3 make good use of external sources such as YouTube, Vimeo, ect. YouTube of course being the most important. I want video's on my site, but I don't want to have to host them. It's not so much the space that is the primary concern but the speed. Very few websites out there can compete with the speed of YouTube in terms of video play speed.

Let's hope that the Video support in v1.3 supports YouTube Playlists.

Videos will only come in with 1.3 but at this point of time, I am not too sure if there are any 3rd party video extensions that integrates with EasySocial though.

Randall and I were talking about native ones that use third party sites.

Josh,

Did a quick search for Responsive HTML 5 YouTube Vimeo video player gallery with source code and found this solution:

http://codecanyon.net/item/responsive-video-gallery-html5-youtube-vimeo/2918602

$10 for single use. $50 for full license.

Thanks for all the input, but I guess the bottom line answer for right now is... no other existing integration.

Hopefully tech support can get simgallery working. If not, I guess I will hack/disable/hide the photo galleries and just use videos for now.

Duct tape, need more duct tape...
