Hi

A few things with the easydiscuss beta :

It is already great cant wait for the RC !!!


I have found a few bugs with the easy social app :

1) when someone llike a discussion in easy discuss the app in easy social shows all the discussion and not just a part of the disscussion

2) there is no stream notification for when a question is resolved ?

3) there is a bug with the smileys but it has already been published in this forum

4) the "more" link does not work


in easydiscuss its self :

1) The text is all in one block, not like in the editor

2) in the who's viewing there is the tooltip and the popup overlapping

3) i get this error : Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'call' of undefined


also :
In the email notification there is a link to manage subscriptions but this link sends to the easydiscuss profil not to the easysocial notifications page

Yep, this is actually a known issue.

Tested this internally, seems to work fine. Which particular stream item is this?

Oh I like the idea for stream notification when a question is resolved... I'm sure what's meant here is an entry like this...

USER A (profile linked) provided the answer to the question TITLE (linked to the question)

So real example:
Andy provided the answer to the question How Awesome are the StackIdeas team?

Nice! That would encourage people to read solved threads and to answer unsolved threads

The stream wording would need to be quite flexible because I suspect everyone uses EasyDiscuss slightly differently - so maybe configurable wording back-end...

Yes Andy, this is what i was thinking of maybe even easier like "this discussion has been resolved, thanks everybody for your help (if more than one answer)" but to have the users names would be a plus. I was surprised because the most important moment for me is when a discussion is resolved, and there was no stream action for this. its good to let people know when things work and things get resolved

Ah, I see. Thanks for the heads up on this. Will consider adding a new stream for resolved items.
