Best way to provide a "Favorite Websites" list for an ES Group

I want an App for my ES Groups that functions like a "Favorite Websites" list.
Any member of the group could Submit a URL and Description.
I could just start a discussion on this topic, but then it get's buried in all the Discussion Posts.

The only thing I can think of is to use Language overrides to rename "announcements" to "Websites" and make and Announcement for each URL.

Other ideas? Anyone have a good resource for hiring Developers to create custom ES Apps like this?

Unfortunately that was not possible at this point of time.

If you really want to use language override, the following these language constant you can use to override the language in Joomla. ( "announcements" to "Websites")
APP_NEWS_GROUP_TITLE

APP_GROUP_NEWS_EMPTY

APP_GROUP_NEWS_CREATE_ANNOUNCEMENT

APP_GROUP_NEWS_SUBTITLE
