Hi, any advice for spam protection during Easy Blog (joomla) registration and how to do the settings.
Hey Oddgeir,

First, you can set your Joomla registration type to `admin`, so that when the new user register on your site, they need to wait for your site admin approve it, then they only can login in your site.

Or you can disallow those new registration member do not have publish post permission from backend > Easyblog > ACL > select your user group > publish entry - NO , once you set this permission to No, all the registration member submit their post in your site, they have to wait for your site admin approve the blog, then they post only will appear on your site.

Hope this will help.

hey Oddgeir,

Do you mean you would like to add a captcha in your site registration?

If yes, I noticed you have installed Easysocial in your site, perhaps you can add a recaptcha custom field in your Easysocial regisration form, it would be help.

Hi again, yes because I am building a new liumo.com from a clean installation on developer.webjobbing.com. Today I do not have EasySocial installed on liumo.com and I am not planning to, but on the old joomla (liumo.com) installation I have a lot of spam registrations, about 3-4 every day, registrations and posting spam articles. Thats why I try to avoid this by installing latest joomla and protect it as good as possible: Title And how to do that joomla wise and EasyBlog wise in combination. Best from Oddgeir
