What my suggestion is you should download the older version 3.8.14670 of Easyblog and install in your Joomla 1.5 site.

Do the migration from Myblog to Easyblog in Joomla 1.5 site.

After that using your Joomla tools to migrate your Joomla 1.5 user to your Joomla 3.3 site.

Then export all the Easyblog table from your old database, change the table prefix to your new database table prefix, then import the sql dump file in your new database.

The last step only install the latest version of Easyblog in your Joomla 3.3 site. Hope this instruction help.
