Hi

Just having an issue I think with creating a post in EasyDiscuss and using the add image feature, which offers you an ability to link to an image on-line.
Only it just renders the link and not the image?
The video feature will render the video, so is there an issue?

cheers
Hi there,

Somehow, this plugin http://take.ms/cOC3y caused them(youtube) links to be striped from the content currently. I have temporarily disabled it and it should shown correctly now. Please give it a check and see how it goes.

It would be best if you can consult with them regarding this if you required them to be used on your site. Please advice.

Hey Kymo,

Hm, I just tested this on your site and it does render the image in the post, https://cueism.com/index.php/ask/chalk-on-the-table . Did you click on the "Insert" link?

HI

NO insert image?

But on my image attachment - you see all I can see is the link and not the image on both chrome and firefox.

Are you saying you see an image?

Yes, take a look at my screen shot here, http://take.ms/iRKSl . Tried viewing this on Safari and Chrome and it does render the image which I have inserted into the post too.

And also now the video insert button does not render video anymore?

Tried on the phone all three browsers + chrome and firefox and IE on PC?

Hi there,

Based on your current post, you are not included that image full/correct path and that why it does not shown the image correctly. It correct is this https://www.pooldawg.com/article/assests/example-d.jpg and you included them without any https/http. and as you can see on your previous URL those http, is Easydiscuss auto fetch those http.

By the way, i have edited them and included those https on the image link. It should shown correctly now. Please give it a check and see how it goes.

Hi

I am just doing copy and paste for YouTube url and right click copy image url - then past.

Maybe it is being stripped somehow?

Because video worked B4 and now it will not render using similar process?

But yes now I can see the image and not the link - thank you

but not video

Ah - yes that works

Do you mean the plugin changed what it thought was a bad word?

Hi there,

Honestly, i am not really familiar with that plugin and not sure what he does actually But somehow, that plugin do think that youtube links need to be filters and consider as bad words, as i t tried use different youtube links, same issues as you facing right now.

I suspected this 'you' word is there on the plugin checking here http://take.ms/TSCFDP, maybe, as it is only my assumptions actually. For better explanations, it is better for you to consult with them first.
