I have a test member who joined (starts at basic member) and then was upgraded to Premium Member. In the back end it says he is part of the Basic Profile type but his is a Premium user group

Shouldn't he be Premium Profile type and Premium user group.
Hi there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, are you referring to Payplans's plan upgrade or, are you referring to EasySocial's profile switch?

If you are referring to Payplan's plan upgrade, I've checked your Payplans and there is no 'upgrade' app installed in your Payplans. Please see http://take.ms/fZdad

You can find this app from your Payplans under apps -> visit app store page.

By the way, how you actually upgraded your user's plan from your Payplans?

If you are referring to EasySocial profile switch, in order to change the user's joomla group as well during the profile switching, you will need to enable this option from your EasySocial. Please see http://take.ms/WIgHB
You can find this setting at EasySocial backend under settings -> users -> general -> Profile Type Switching

Please advise.

Hope this help and have a nice day

What I want to happen is user joins as a basic member which is free.

Then they have an option to upgrade by clicking on the button, they go to a payplans page select an option from there, pay the subscription price (uses braintree) and then their profile is upgraded and they switch from basic to premium.

I have the 2 profiles (Basic & Premium) created in the system.

I had a freelance developer who seems to have completely messed it all up. It used to work and I had to take a break from launching the site and wanted it checked over and this freelance was going to do it but screwed it up.

So now trying myself to fix it!

Any guidance welcome!

To allow your members to upgrade their plans from basic plan to premium plan, you will need to install Payplans's Upgrade app. Please take a look at this documentation:

https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/essentials/upgrade

Next, if you want to allow your user to switch their profile types after the upgraded their plans, you will need to install Payplans's ES profiletype apps. Please see this documentation https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/integrations/easysocial-profiletype

And, if you want to integrate Payplans with EasySocial registration ( http://take.ms/LUhRf ), you will need to install EasySocial Registration app. Please see http://take.ms/2x5W2

Do let us know if you still having issue configuring your PayPlans.

Hope this help and have a nice day

https://stackideas.com/forums/where-is-the-url-for-the-payplans-plans-page

I am closing this ticket as I think this ticket is very similar now to the one.

I still have not completed my payplans integration yet. The latest state is in the url above.
