When I was beta testing EasySocial I added all possible menu options to my main social menu.

I was going through the menu items to remove any that had an outcome that was available site wide (login etc), could be reached from the dashboard, name dropdown list (profile etc) or the toolbar.

I was able to remove all except for 3 items:

1. Badges (all badge images, titles and descriptions)
2. Points (all points images, titles and descriptions)
3. Users (all users, users with photos and online users)

There are all useful items to have available in one or all of dashboard/name dropdown list/toolbar, could the outcomes available from the menu items be made available in those areas please?

I don't mean move them from menu items, the list of available menu item options is excellent, the 3 items listed should be available in one or all of dashboard, name dropdown list and toolbar, otherwise they will not be able to be accessed on site if not included as a menu item (or module).
Hello Richard,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am sorry but I am actually a little lost here. Not too sure what are you referring to. Are you referring to the submenu items in EasySocial's toolbar?

Sorry Mark, I didn't explain it very well.

When you add a new menu in menu manager in Joomla 3 the following menu item types are available for EasySocial in the pop up choice list:

Activity Log
Albums
Applications
Badges
Conversation Archives
Conversation Composer
Conversation Inbox
Create Album
Dashboard
Edit Notification
Edit Privacy
Edit Profile
Followers
Forgot Password
Forgot Username
Friends
Leaderboard
Login Layout
Notifications
Points History
Points Listings
Profile
Profile About
Registration
Search
Single Album
Single Badge Item
Single Points Rule
Unity
User Archive
Users

In the beta I created a main menu item called Social and added a sub menu for each of the items in that list to test, but with EasySocial now live and my own site upgrade almost live I went through the above list, removing sub menus that had an outcome (when you click on them) that I could also get from the EasySocial Dashboard, toolbar icons, toolbar drpodown list (profile, friends, followers, photos etc) or site wide (login etc).

I was able to find all of the items in the above list in those other places except for Badges, Points Listings and Users.

Therefore if I want my members to see a list of all Badges, Points or Users (for users it is all, with photos or online), I have to create a sub menu (as I did in the beta) or add a module because they are not available from the Dashboard, toolbar or dropdown list from the toolbar account/username.

Therefore is it possible to add the outcome (when you click on them) from these 3 menu type options in menu manager to either the Dashboard, toolbar (as a icon) or the account/username dropdown list (where profile, friends followers etc are)?

HI Richard,

Thanks for the explanation again. I get what you mean now. Thanks Currently we do not have the plan yet to add these 3 items into user dashboard or the toolbar because what you see now in dashboard / toolbar are most likely things that related to current logged in user.

Anyway, maybe adding these item into dashboard might help some of the users. If you dont mind, maybe you can add this into our user voice page here http://stackideas.com/voices so that when we compile the feature request list, we will then look into this request again

Thanks again for your feedback and your suggestion.

Thank you Sam, I have added it to the feature request list.

It is not a critical item, more of a 'nice to have' as it means everything in the menu type list is available directly from the dashboard/profile area.
