Hello,

I have noticed three issues related to rank and badges.

1. Despite setting rank to not show in Settings > General > General features, the rankbar still shows under user's avatar
2. When saving badges in:

administrator/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=badges&layout=form&id=6

then often times, the changes do not save and upon saving, I am taken to the dashboard of the EasyDiscuss

3. Despite the fact that a user has been manually assigned a badge, it does not appear under their name in the front end (although they are correctly listed as having achieved it)

Hi Jordan,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply. Kindly please find my response to your inquiries below:

->I've tried replicate this locally and seems I can reproduce it. This issue has been logged in our issue tracker and our developers will take an action on this

3. Despite the fact that a user has been manually assigned a badge, it does not appear under their name in the front end (although they are correctly listed as having achieved it)

->I'm bit lost here, what do you mean by "a user has been manually assigned a badge" and can you please give us some screenshot where are you refer this badge to be appear at?

You can manually assign badges here:

/administrator/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=badges&layout=assign

After doing so, the user does have a badge attached to their profile as visible in the backend under users. However, the badge does not appear next to their name on the front end (beside their posts for example)

Hi Jordan,

By default, the badges is not appear on next to their name on the front end. The badges of user can be accessed on user profile.

That's disappointing. In ED 3, the badges appeared right below the avatar accompanying a post. I think it's very important to bring this back in ED4 because users will not click an avatar to find out what badge they have. In this forum (Stackideas) your avatar has your verified badge (green check mark) which is a nice example of using badges with the avatar.

I really hope you reconsider and bring this back.

No, I'm simply referring to having the user's badge under his/her avatar, just as you had in EasyDiscuss 3, seen below.
