Hi,

I try to make some custom badges but it is not working.
What did I do:
- I created a reviews.badge file (see attachement) and this file i copied to administrator/components/com_jreviews/
- I went to the easysocial component in the backend. went to archievements -> discover and clicked on discover. It find 13 rules but all orginal easysocial rules. My rule is not getting found so I can not install it.

I am using joomla 3.4.7 and the latest easysocial.

PS: I am not asking you to make a custom badge. I followed the installation instructions and in some way this is not working.

Kind regards,

Michel Hilverts
Can you try removing the comments from the badge file. You should try pasting the codes in http://jsonlint.com/ and ensure that they are valid json syntax

Thank you Mark, that solved the issue. I never could imagine that comments could be the issue.

Thanks for updating, glad that your issues are resolved now Just for your information, php's json_decode is pretty strict and it breaks when there are comments. Hence, it wasn't able to properly decode the json string
