Is there something wrong with the search box in easysocial? I have done some testing with it, and it rarely finds a person by name. In the attached example, there is clearly a Jeanine, but she doesn't come up in the search. Any suggestions appreciated!

Probably the search indexer isn't sync correctly. Is this a new user? You can try to clear the search indexer and re-synchronize the search indexer in the back end of EasySocial.

Thanks, Mark! That particular user logged in about 8 hours ago, but there were others that weren't showing up after several days. I ran the re-indexer and they all work now! Thanks!

Hello Tim,

Hm, this is odd because the user plugin is supposed to re-synchronize them automatically when they register on the site. I will have someone check on this.

Mark, you're right. I definitely think we have something wrong. Indexing isn't happening automatically.

Hi,

There is a bug currently where if you are adding a user through the native Joomla's user manager, the index is not getting added.

This will be fixed in the next version.
