Hi

I'm monitoring performance using New Relic and I see an indication that /EasyBlogController/display is taking some good amount of the time to process php and response time are much slower than other php files.

Would you know what could be causing it?
there is a screenshot attached.

I use the showcase module on my homepage .
Hey Ricardo,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. The "display" method is basically the single point of entry for most views / controllers / logics on EasyBlog. If you have a lot of blog posts on the site, you should see some spike whenever a SQL query is made but it really shouldn't be slow at all. It's probably a spike to retrieve the data from the database.

The funny thing is that EasyBlog is not the main part of my side. Despite the showcase module on the homepage, it doesn't get a lot of access.
I have jReviews with a majority of the traffic and also JomSocial and Kunena with much more hits, and I'm still seeing this EasyBlog on the top of the list in New Relic.

Maybe there is some space for optimizations, I don't remember the previous version being so slow.

Hey Ricardo,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as I was a little occupied with our development for EasySocial 1.4 release. Hm, to be honest, I am not really sure how to give you an exact answer before looking at the site and investigating these teething issues.

Is it possible for you to:

1. Provide us with the back end and FTP access
2. Provide us with the access to New Relic to look into the stats
