Bad links within EasyDiscuss due to the choice of menu item

Hey there,

unfortunately I found another thing within ED4. There are several menu items selectable. In case you use Forum layout and call it 'Forum', all links within ED4 are great like domain/forum/categorie/topic.

But the moment you select the default startpage menu item for recent topics as well, maybe as a submenu item of 'forum' and call this menu item 'new-topics', all links within ED4 go to domain/forum/new-topics/category/topic.

It looks like urls going through the default startpage menu item dominate over the forum layout. But unfortunately there is no other way around to get 'recent topics'.

I just thought this might be reportable at least.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply. Correct me if I'm wrong here, is it do you mean by if you create a submenu new-topic(recent layout) under Forum menu (forum layout) all the links is will refer to domain/forum/new-topics/category/topic? If yes, can you provide us with your test site that are refer this issue with? because I've tried to replicate this and seems I cannot reproduce it .

Nevermind, it was my fault. I used the recent topics but when I use an external url as the recent link from the toolbar, the urls are just fine.

If you are still interested in the details, you can compare the topic links from the following two links:
http://younion.de/index.php/discussions
http://younion.de/index.php/discussions/new-topics

Usually topics should have the same links, no matter if listed under 'new topics'.
