On a separate machine, a person gets an error that there is a bad email when signing in. It has been about six hours since she set up the account. The dash board indicates an email error as well. Is there a latency period between signing up and credentials kicking in? Thanks...
Hi Ben,

Correct me if I'm wrong here, do you mean you've set the registration using 'required user activation' and once user want to sign in within within 6 hours the activation code no longer can be used?

Thanks Fadhil,

The user who has already registered gets a "bad email" message upon logging in. The registration popup appears immediately on pulling up the site marketeventsocial.com. Again, when she tries to log in she gets the bad email message, saying her email is not valid. She got the same message when she tried to sign up on another email.

Got to be something I'm not doing or did possibly when I was setting up the alerts, etc. Where is that "required user activation"?

At some point I saw a way to email you privately with pw and user name but don't see it now, otherwise I would have included it. If you want it, just give me the link to it...

cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben,

Is the issue is happen to every user that want to register into your site, or a user hitting this issue? Honestly, I'm still not sure how to replicate this issue.
Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?
You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

->This setting is from:
1. Profile types>choose profile type>general>registration type : https://www.screencast.com/t/33JVJnwu
