It would be nice if we could customize the dashboard and content via the backend. I for one would like the ability to add in my own links and content without having to customize files directly. Having something like this would be great, especially if the customizations were save directly via separate files and ES called those files. That way if there is an update it wouldn't remove the customizations. It would simply recall the files after the the update was installed. I also think this would make it easier for other software developers to integrate thier software with very little effort.
Hey Michael,

Hm, this is a good idea. Perhaps EasySocial could actually read files from /administrator/templates/TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/dashbaord/ and include / render these files on the dashboard

Perhaps module positions at the back end as well? Seems interesting

Very funny sarcasm noted, but what I am referring to is something built into the component it self. I think that having a built in feature allowing us to customize the "Frontend" Dashboard would be great.

Something for those of us that do not read or write in code.

Ah, no sarcasm at all but what I meant was a module position built into the backend structure which also allows you to position modules at the back end.

Noted, thanks for the heads up on this.
