Hello,

I have a blogpost where I use a pdf block. (http://www.tahtapod.com/blog/gencsiyaset)

When the post loads in the browser then the browsers try automatically to download pdf first. İs there any possibility to disable this automatic download?

I used the file block meanwhile, but there the pdf doesn't look good. İt is only the icon.

Can I avoid automatic download?

Tnx a lot.
BR,

Alp
I've viewed on your site, it seems like it didn't automatically download that PDF file on my Chrome browser.

May i know what browser you using?

It would be best if you can double check with your current browser and see any 3rd party addon extension enabled from your browser?

Hello Mehmet,

It is most likely that your browser doesn't support PDF. This is why it is auto downloading it. For browsers that supports PDF, it'll render the PDF viewer on the page. Try to install the acrobat plugin on your computer.

Hi Mark,

please appologize late answer.

The problem is that I can't guess the browser settings of visitors of my page.
If they have their setting as I had, them will realize same (start download...)

But I think I understand the problem now. Therefore I will keep using 'files' blok instead of usinig pdf viewer.
It's bit bitty since the viewer is a cool tool.

Anyway,
T nx for your kind help.
