HI,

two questions regarding posts:

1) I want use on the front page the latest post module as follows:

a) one latest post module for all categories and addtinionally
b) one latest post module for each category

Question how to avoid duplicate posts ? E.g. the very last post belongs to the category "history". That post appears in the latest post module for all categories and in the latest post module for category "history". The post should be only appears in the latest post module for all categories.

2) The latest post module should have a short description for each posts, which is appears only in the latest post module. In the blog should be not visible. How to do it ?

Thanks,

Michel
Hi there,

Currently, it is not possible to achieve this as it will always show you all post and based on the category. You will need to excluded them on either one of your module currently.

2) The latest post module should have a short description for each posts, which is appears only in the latest post module. In the blog should be not visible. How to do it ?

You can truncate them as you can see here http://take.ms/CJLGP.

Hi Warith,

thanks a lot for your fast response !

Before closing the ticket, I would like to know, how to exclude a post from the latest post ( category history ) ?
Back to the short description: This description should be only visible in the latest post module...

Thanks ,

Michel

Hi there,

Before closing the ticket, I would like to know, how to exclude a post from the latest post ( category history ) ?

Currently, we dont have setting to exclude them based on post and we only can show them based on this setting http://take.ms/6GvHe only. There are no ways for us to achieve this currently.

Back to the short description: This description should be only visible in the latest post module...

I am not sure what exactly you meant here actually. Currently, you only can show those blogs post content on shorter version by configuring this settings http://take.ms/CJLGP. From what i understand, you wanted to included some descriptions on your blogs but it just visible on that module only. If that true, currently there are no such ways to include descriptions into that module post by post.

Please advice.
