Hello Edouard Gaudel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
I have tried to access in your Easyblog backend setting, but it seems like you provided that user account do not have Super administrator privileges, so I'm not able to check with your setting, can you try go to your backend > Easyblog > themes > origami > Show Avatars on frontpage - YES and make sure that this setting is it set to YES? If set to yes, is it possible provide us with your FTP access and Joomla backend user grant Super administrator privileges so we can check on this? Please advise.

Hi,

Thanks for your reactivity. I just check and indeed it's set to yes. So if you got an idea, it would be great.

Sorry for the access, I just modify it, now you're Super user. And I add the FTP access in this post.

Thanks a lot,

Edward

Well i think it's a conflict with wanders template because when I change themes of Easyblog, the layout is very different for some themes.
And when I change the template, it's ok.

Hello Edouard,

Yes, that's correct! The overriden template for EasyBlog in Wanderers does not have an avatar and it was done on purpose to get a clean "blog" layout. If you do not want this, all you need to do is to rename the folder /templates/wanderers/html/com_easyblog/ to a different name so that it will inherit EasyBlog's theme instead.

Thanks Mark, it better like this.
I renamed the com_easyblog in com_easyblog2 and a large part of the layout appears. However, my avatar is not displayed on the front page but only when I open the blog entry.
Any idea about this ?

And thanks a lot for your great reactivity. Never seen this with other companies.

Edward

Hello Edward,

I've checked your site and seems like the CSS from the wanderers template has hide the avatar. I've modified the css and the avatar should be displayed now.

OK, thanks.
It's better this way but there's still a problem : the avatar is on the extremely left and no near of the author's name. How can I fix that ?

And please can you tell me what do you custom in the css ? Because I would probably need it for a second website in next months.

Thanks a lot,

Edward

Hello Edouard,

What I did was change this: http://screencast.com/t/9lnY1hY1 to display:block; in ../templates/wanderers/css/theme.css . As for the fix, try replace the attached file in ../templates/wanderers/css/theme.css . Hope this helps.
