I wish that the avatar selected in

[Avatar Listings

You can add default avatars for this profile type. Users can then select the ones they want to use.]

however it seems to be overriden, "i only tested with users registering through the rapid registration"

Also speaking of the editing of images:

if it possible you can put in the profile,another setiing for the custome cover,group cover

so whenever we install a new version of easyscoial it will not be overriden and also we don't have to edit CSS for that

Hm, sorry but I don't quite get you here. Do you mean when you select the default profile type during registrations, it's not selected for you?

no,I mean in the default profile (I have only one) and I need to fully customizes the Images,and change the default profile images for every nee users,I only was able to do that by changing the jpg file through ftp

also would be nice to also allow to change the cover,group,..images in the template

Hello Aelsharawi,

Sorry but I don't really understand you here. Do you mean the default user avatar that is used throughout the site? You just need to overwrite the avatar files in /Users/media/com_easysocial/defaults/avatars/user

sorry again for confusion,I was modifying your neat software deeply ,so I cam across this idea if it can be gloablly overriten through the whole website instead of ftp the override

Ah, okay so you mean instead of overwriting these files you want to override it through Joomla's template override?

correct, because it is very confusing to change avatar of profile and then when a user register with this profile it just uses the gloabel one

The reason that we do not allow this to happen is because if we did, then we need to keep "checking" if the file exist in template override or not. Everytime a page load, it adds extra load to the server when we perform such checks. Perhaps in the future we can add a settings for this instead.
