Hello,
I have a Joomla website and I am registered as the Super User. Whenever I post or update a K2 item it automatically posts in the Uncategorized discussion category. It didn't always do this so I must have messed something up but I don't know what. Help. How do I fix this? Thank you.
Karen
Hello Karen Coronado,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
I have tried to access in your Joomla backend, but it seems like you provided that login credential is not working.
By the way, do you mean that when you update your k2 item, then it will automatically post to Easydiscuss discussion post right?
Can you try disable this plugin Content - EasyDiscuss and see how it goes?

Hi Arlex,
Yes, you are correct, when I update my K2 item it automatically posts to Easydiscuss discussion in the Uncategorized category. I have the Content - Easydiscuss plugin disabled but that did not change things. It posts any K2 item in the discussion post's "Uncategorized" section even though the items are assigned to other K2 categories. Thanks for your help.

Hello Karen Coronado,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
I have tried to create a new K2 item from your backend, it seems like Easydiscuss didn't get any post from K2 item.
May i know is it happening when you create from frontend?

If yes, can you provide us that K2 creation page URL so that we can do some testing in your site?

No need to apologize. Your responses have been very timely. I don't expect you to work on your weekend off I just post in the forum when something comes up even if it's on the weekend. You are right, Arlex, it's not doing it now. Maybe the cache needed to be cleared after I disabled the Content plugin. That was an easy fix. Thank you.
