Hi guys,

We've run into an issue in regards to autoposting with one of our sites.

When a post is shared out from the site, it shares the incorrect URL. In fact, it's not really a URL at all, but a snippet of a URL, specifically what looks to be the blog post ID in Easyblog. You can see what those shares look like here:

Twitter: https://drive.google.com/a/directive.com/uc?id=1pqmR1I4aHZr7v_whEr2PbrCgKgcVv8dC
LinkedIn: https://drive.google.com/a/directive.com/uc?id=16nOBWov0giTtHOtkXeek7MdylWW_QXna

We've tested the issue on Facebook as well, and it occurs in a similar fashion to these.

I did some investigating myself, and I initially thought the issue was that the post author was set to blocked, however even after unblocking the author the post still share out in the same way.

Additionally, while testing we had turned off autoposting (by flipping the switch off next to "Enable Integrations" for each social integration) and the posts still went out. The issues may not be related, but it's something I noticed.

You'll also see that the site that I'm having you take a look at isn't on our list of domains, however this shouldn't be a problem as we purchased what is supposed to be unlimited support from you at the beginning of the year. If there is an issue, let me know.
Hi Chris,

I would like to check the url issue but it appears that the backend url is not working(redirect to homepage). Please advice.

I will log this in our tracker so it can be addressed.

Hi Raymond,

I've reviewed the backend URL I've provided to you and this is the correct one. The issue that you experienced is likely because our client has been switching back and forth between their old and new website, the new website being the one that's currently having autoposting issues.

If you see this as the frontend, you should be able to access the backend of the site: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mVvtF84vElH3VeFSUXpuQ0sVE41_e7ya/view

Please try again and let me know what happens. If you continue to have issues accessing the site, I'll review it further and discuss it with our client.

Thanks!

Hi Raymond,

Sorry about that. However, it seems the problem has resolved itself for the moment. If it becomes an issue again, I'll open up another ticket about it.

Thanks,
