we want to integrate FB but the button for choosing page is not there... can somebody help?
The account is connected correctly...

THX for your help,
Josh

string(165) "{"error":{"message":"The request is invalid because the app is configured as a desktop app","type":"OAuthException","code":1,"fbtrace_id":"AQj-BdFSb3w9hA-Up16cR5r"}}"

It seems like hitting this error when you click sign in via Facebook button from backend.

Then I found is because you have enable this "Native or desktop app?" setting from your Facebook app, you can check my attached screenshot below.

I already help you turn it off, can you try authenticate with your Facebook account from your site backend and see how it goes?

Once those pages appear into that list, you can start record a video and submit for review.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know your Facebook app user permission already get approved by Facebook reviewer yet?

Because for those user permission like publish_pages, manage_pages, publish _to_group must get approved by Facebook reviewer then only can retrieve your Facebook account pages.

https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/facebook-app-review

If your apps permission already get approved and it still not working, perhaps you can update your following details at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

1. your site backend login access
2. your site FTP login access
3. Facebook login access

Hey Joshua,

It seems like you provided us with your site backend user account do not have superadmin privileges so I was unable to check any of your Easyblog configuration setting, you can check my screenshot here : https://monosnap.com/file/mhYRqS9gJnXHIfqZK3OUtwKTS3wmbL

Regarding with your Facebook page not appear from Easyblog autopost configuration page, I noticed I was unable to access Facebook developer page https://developers.facebook.com/ , Facebook showing me this warning https://monosnap.com/file/qr2uRbavzOYhnjANCaGUlfXN4ginkP

Actually I would like to have your personal Facebook user account login since you can't provide us with your Facebook login account, can you invite my Facebook user account under your app administrator roles? https://monosnap.com/file/8mrmuqq22c42Ckex1Qz01noLT9PERy

So I can able to access your app configuration page and investigate this issue.

By the way, we are also having problems with the appearing of "easyblog" in the addressline of every blogitem. Our admin told us, that this can not be changed, because we implemented the blog with modules on a SPPB-page and not connected the component via menu directly. The only solution would be to redirect every single item via sh404.
Isn't there a more "normal" way just to get rid of the extra in our address?

I know it's another topic, but if you are in our backend perhaps you can have a look at that too, thank you very much.

Thanks, it seems like you haven't submit your app permission to review yet, you can take a look our documentation here how to submit your app permission for review. (screenshot : https://monosnap.com/file/HGytBaG5DyIURMpJSt1UY3jwwMczCy )

Because it required Facebook reviewer approve your app permission in order to show your account Facebook page from Easyblog backend.

I will reply you on your original thread here https://stackideas.com/forums/shorten-permanent-link-delete-easyblog-out-of-it .

I watched all that.... the thing is that for the review we have to upload screencasts. And it your example the choosing-page works. Facebook also tells to only provide apps for review that work.
So if we make the screencast and have to stop at the point where one would choose the page - the app will not get permission - or what do you think? Just send it like it is? Things where so easy with Twitter and linkedin..

Hey it works
Thank you! As posting to FB works directly, I do not see why going through the review-process...

Will see what happens next - for now we are very happy!

You're welcome.

You actually need to go through the review process once your app make to production mode, currently your app is under development so you can record a video to show Facebook reviewer why you need these app user permission.

If I am not wrong, those blog post which you autopost to your Facebook page only appear on your user account only, if you access your Facebook page using public user, those blog post will not appear it.
