Hi,

I've set up autoposting for Facebook and LinkedIn and authenticated correctly by signing in, however when we create a post we get the following error:

400 Expected 1 '.' in the input between the postcard and the payload.

If I go to Posts and then click on the FB or the Linkedin icon in the autoposting column we get the same error.

I've already tried replacing the client.php files as described in other posts on the same issue but that has not resolved the issue.

Can you please advise how to resolve?

Many thanks
Hey there,

I believe that was app misconfiguration issue, may i know which is your current Easyblog version? If can, replace back the client.php original file and provide us with your Joomla backend, Facebook, Linkedin access so we can help you check on this?

Hi,

I've added the Joomla backend and FTP details here.

I have not provided FB and LinkedIn credentials since they will prompt a security flag when you log in from outside the UK where my client is based.

Regards,
Quentin

You're right, but we need to check with your client Facebook and Linkedin app configuration page and see is it setup correctly or not.

if that was not possible, unless you can provide us with your client Facebook/Linkedin app configuration page screenshot as well?

Hey there,

Facebook autopost : Can you try click revoke access from backend > Easyblog > autopost > facebook then re-authentication again and see how it goes?

Linkedin autopost : Can you try tick `rw_company_admin` ( http://screencast.com/t/hIcmTmksNruW ) and set Application status to `development` ( http://screencast.com/t/q2sedqTSfe ) > save it, then click revoke access from backend > Easyblog > autopost > Linkedin then re-authentication again and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, perhaps you can provide us with these 2 social media account so I can better have a look.

By the way, I can't access in your Joomla backend :
Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Hi,

For LinkedIn: I tried those steps and it worked :-)

For Facebook, you said:
Can you try click revoke access from backend > Easyblog > autopost > facebook then re-authentication again and see how it goes?

I tried to do that and got the following error:
There was some errors when trying to revoke the application access. You need to manually revoke the access on your Facebook settings page.

Can you please advise?

Thanks

Actually that was not a error, just a warning message, can you try login in your client Facebook account then click `sign in via Facebook` button from backend > Easyblog > autopost > Facebook and see how it goes?

I did that and got the message: Your Facebook account has been linked to the system successfully.

Then I went to the posts page and i clicked on the Facebook icon to post it on Facebook. The icon changed colour to indicate success but one hour later and that post has still not appeared.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hey there,

I've checked in your Easyblog Facebook configuration settings, but it seems like you didn't select that Facebook page from the settings, you can take a look of my screenshot below.

By the way, I already help you selected Facebook page and save it. May i know is it possible provide us with your Facebook access as well?

if that was not possible, can you provide us with your Facebook page URL so that I can doing some test post from your Easyblog site then double check and see is it autopost to your Facebook page as well?
