1-there is how to increase the number of characters to 256 (current twitter limit), since it is still limited to 128!

2 - is there a way to put a "default image" when the original source is not available?

Looks like we might need to update the way the API is calling Twitter. The truncation seems to be done by twitter themselves on the older api endpoints. Will log this into our issue tracker.

I updated the plugin (2.1.1) ... still has the limitation of 128 characters.
Any predictions to adjust to 256 (current twitter limit)?
