Hi there,

is it possible for some registered users set blog articles to auto publish. So they don“t have to wait for permission from admin. Other registered users, still must be confirmed by admin. Something like VIP People are set to auto publish.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Yes, that is possible to configure this.

This is what you need to setup on your current setting regarding with your scenario :

1. Create new user group for VIP from your backend.
2. Imagine normal user account is under this usergroup "Registered", so you have to configure this ACL from backend > Easyblog > ACL > edit "Registered" user group > set 'Allowed To Write New Post' to YES and set 'Allowed To Publish Post' to NO (screenshot : http://take.ms/OZzmg)

Edit "VIP" usergroup > set 'Allowed To Write New Post' to YES and set 'Allowed To Publish Post' to YES

Hope this will help.

Thank you Arlex,

hopefully I did it ride. I was a little bit confused about Group in Custom Fields. But i believe you suggested a new User Group in Joomla back end - Section USER Groups. I named that group "VIP" and made settings in Easy Blog ACL. Please check if i dit it ride.?

You're welcome.

Yes, I mean you have to create new user group from Joomla user group section (screenshot : http://take.ms/PNbg7).

But I've checked on your site, it look like you haven't create it yet right, but you can give it a try and see how it goes.
