Hello,

I am using IP Board script for other websites, its a similar forum script to vbulletin and phpbb,
I discovered recently a VERY powerfull app developped its name is Automation Rules, globally it help admins to create rules and automate some action, here some exmples :

When member register Send to him a welcome message

WHEN: New content is posted
IF: Content author’s post count equals 1
THEN: Send “Congratulations, Welcome to our community!” email

I was wondering if stackideas had a dedicated extension to automate action for the four extensions (ES, ED, K, EB), or just add some automation rules into those extension, what do you think guys ?

beyond this dev suggestion hope you integrate a simple welcome private message in ES 2

Here's a link to this app :

Hm, pretty interesting concept and I like it a lot. This is almost identical to the intelligent fields that we are planning to add into EasySocial 2.1.

Let's see what we could do with this in the future

Intelligent fields are geared towards "field mapping" and I don't think your existing fields would get lost as it's merely just a map of an intelligent field with the rest of the other fields.

Don't quote me on this yet as I am still not 100% sure what are the proper way to really go about this.
