I would like to do the following:

- I create a new user in the backend and assign him a special role. I would then like that this user get automatically a connected profile in EasySocial.

The problem here is currently:
1.) I create a new limited administrator via Backend
2.) Assign him the Joomla role I created which grant him limited rights
3.) He do not get the limited administrator profile in easydiscuss, i need to switch manually the profile here

Did i have overseen something?
Do you mean when you assign the special role from the Easydiscuss profile for that new user?

When this user grant to another new roles, it didn't automatically update that Easysocial profile type for him?

If yes, currently that was not possible to achieve this at this point of time.

Hm, halfway let me try to explain that in an example:

When I wish to create a new limited admin user i need to perform the following:

1.) Create a new joomla user
2.) grant him my special limited joomla administrator rights ... Simply add him to the joomla group "limited admins"
3.) Switch to easy social users and switch the new user from the default user profile to the one with limited admin rights

What I would like to see:
- EasySocial knows that the user is part from the joomla group "limited admins" and therefore should assign him the correct profile. But it seamed that's a manual task.

Thanks for took your time to explained again with your current question, may i know when you talk about "Create a new joomla user" is it you create it from Joomla user manager page?

Then you switch this new user to another Easysocial profile type which called (limited admin + contain limited admin user group) ?
