Automatically assign new users to "Author" group

Hi,

At http://cast.cloudaccess.net/ I would like to set it up so that new users are automatically assigned to the "Author" group - rather than the "Registered" group, as is currently the case.

How do I do this?

Hello Jeff,

You may set registered user automatically as author by going to your joomla backend > system > global configuration > users manager and set the new user registration group as author shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/CBYDCIONtKQ .
