Automatically added bloggers

I'm currinig using version 3.8.14670 of EasyBlog. in Joomla Version 1.7.1 . I have noticed that all my users are automatically being added to the bloggers list. Is there a way to stop that from happening. I've been through the setting and I can't seem to find a way. I only want select user to have the ability to create blog posts. I'm planning to do a Joomla upgrade soon but I would like to know if I can stop users from automatically being added to the bloggers list before I upgrade to the next version of Joomla and EasyBlog.

Hello Jonathan Hughes,

What I suggestion is you can set 2 type of user group :
#1. Blogger user group -> This user group have the permission to publish a blog post
#2. Registered user group -> This user group disallow to publish and write blog post
You can configure this from your backend > Easyblog > ACL > http://screencast.com/t/W5UmyTHbq8

Or you can exclude which user can't show in blogger list -> Exclude users from blogger listings - add user id
If this feature do not exists in the older version 3.8 of Easyblog, then you have to update to latest version of Easyblog and your Joomla version as well.
