Hi
I start using EasyDiscuss and am still testing/learning it.
Is it possible to add a “Finish Publishing” date to a question and have that question automatically being “unpublished” after that day?
Thanks
Didier.
Hi there,

Unfortunately, we dont have this kind of feature on Easydiscuss currently but we do have options to lock your discussion based on X period as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/ICZgpLrsvjvI, which mean it will lock those post from your site's users and it will be accesible by your moderators and Super Admin only.

For your informations, Easydiscuss are more on Q and A so we cannot un-publish/publish them. By using Easyblog , you can achieve this.

Hope this help

Thanks for your quick response.
I hadn’t found that setting, might be helpful for me.
I need a question / answer system for members of associations to agree among themselves to ride together or to go to activities together. And of course, those questions are of a temporary nature.
It is not clear to me what is most suitable for this: EasyDiscuss or Easyblog. Can I try out Easyblog so that I can evaluate this? Your test site this is too limited to really evaluate this.
Thanks
Didier.

Hi there,

Right now, based on your requirement, Easydiscuss is better options as it is more on Question and Answer components like you are using right now and Easyblog are more on Blogging, to share your Informations and stuff as you can see here https://stackideas.com/blog.

For my informations, locking feature are the best options to be implement on your site. Maybe you can buy them out first and see what suit your natures and within 30 days, you are eligible to refund them.
