I skimmed through the forum and did not see this question, if it is already there, I apologize. Is there a way certain users can create a post and it be automatically approved and posted without an admin having to log into the back-end to approve the post? Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Paul,

Go to the ACL section at the back end of EasyBlog and click on the "Author" group. Ensure that the "Publish posts" acl is enabled

Hey Paul,

The reason that the post is being moderated is because of the ACL "Publish post" which is disabled for "Registered users" by default.

I strongly encourage you to moderate the "Registered users" but for users that you trust, assign them also into the "Author" group which is also allowed to publish blog posts by default

Thank you for your reply and I understand about wanting to moderate and normally I would agree but, when the owner wants to post, you let him post. However, when I changed him to the "Author" group it still puts the article into the Pending status waiting to be approved. Can you advise further by chance?
