Hello,

1. I noticed with the new upgrade to EasyBlog 5.0.30 that Auto-fill does not auto-fill like the earlier version. I can type tags in.

2. And truncation even though I do have paragraph breaks in my content still does not break where the image shows.Maybe I missed a setting?

Please see screen shots and video.

Thank you so much for being awesome!

Hey Rob,

Hm, yeah it does look like something is not right there. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

You can actually change the tags styling in the settings. Go to Settings > Layout . Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/3UdDcmUWrKua

Hey Rob,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Please find my response to your inquiries below:

1. I noticed with the new upgrade to EasyBlog 5.0.30 that Auto-fill does not auto-fill like the earlier version. I can type tags in.

The new "auto fill" feature in EasyBlog 5 is actually a little different. It actually gets the content of what you are writing from the composer and sends the content to our compute machine to generate a list of known tags.

If you are referring to the behavior of EasyBlog 3.9, you just need to set the default tags from the back end of EasyBlog and when you load up the composer, these default tags would be populated by default.

2. And truncation even though I do have paragraph breaks in my content still does not break where the image shows.Maybe I missed a setting?

It actually depends on what editor you use and what settings you have for the truncation. I am not entirely sure what your settings are. Perhaps you could elaborate more on this please?

By the way, it looks like your license for EasySocial has already expired Since we are running a promo currently, perhaps you want to take advantage of this?

Hi Mark,

Mark please this could have waited, enjoy your weekend! You are a support magician

Before I upgraded I use to use the composer auto fill - did you look at the video? The composer is not pulling in the content currently even though I have written 5 blog entries today. Maybe my DB is corrupt - need to look into that also since I did find a lot of old tables in there.

I think the auto-fill is a wonderful addition to EasyBlog - absolutely fantastic but it was working before the upgrade.

Also do we have the ability to change the tags or will they look like the hashtag format? I know a lot of coding goes into this and I am grateful for your expertise.

Thanks again.

Regards,
Rob

Hi Mark,

Thanks again for getting back to me. I actually am working on this right now. It seems after the upgrade that there might have been some data redundancy - because right now the auto fill is working and thanks the tag location. For now this is solved.

Thanks again Mark - best wishes always!

Regards,
Rob
