Authors not being notified on posts

We have been having an issue lately with authors not being notified when a post goes out. All other registered users are notified but the author of the post is not. The mail activities shows that the email never went out to the author.
Is there another setting we are missing or is this a bug?

Maybe you can check whether this settings http://take.ms/kk9JY already enabled or during post creation you disabled this settings http://take.ms/DKBbU

If not, it would be best if you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for us further check on this issues. Please advice.

Hey there,

Can you please edit your first post at the top and include the following access please?

- Site Admin access (Please ensure that the user has super admin access)

- FTP access (We need this because if we use a file manager in Joomla, there are times where we have a typo and this might eventually break your entire back end and front end for instance if we are editing a system plugin). There is no way to save the site unless we have the ftp access.
